Techniques for Dealing with a Planet in Crisis

April 7, 2019 - 10:15am

When hearing news of serious trouble in other parts of the world, are you sometimes overcome with feelings of powerlessness, anxiety, and even despair? On Sunday, March 10th at 10:15 a.m. at the Berlin Township Community Center in Beach Lake, PA., Skip Mendler will present a talk entitled "Techniques for Dealing with a Planet in Crisis". This talk is intended to help you explore, utilize, and expand a simple set of straightforward and practical ideas, tools, and techniques for preventing the spread of a world crisis into one's own personal life. This does not mean isolating oneself from world events, but quite the opposite, actively combating the emotionally and spiritually damaging effects of crisis situations by taking specific, positive, and purposeful actions in connection with those events.

All are invited to attend the one hour service which is sponsored by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and is followed by a social time with refreshments. For directions go to
